Quick fixes

My habits disappeared after a reinstall

Nudge v1.0 stores all data on your device only — iCloud sync is on the roadmap but not yet shipped. Reinstalling the app removes that local data, so habits and logs do not come back. Before uninstalling, open Nudge → Settings → Export Data to save a JSON backup. When iCloud sync lands in a future version, automatic cross-device restore will be supported.

Premium purchase didn't unlock

Open Nudge → Settings → Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple ID you used for purchase. If it still doesn't show, email us the last 4 digits of the Apple receipt and we'll help track it down with Apple.

Notifications aren't arriving

Check three places: (1) iOS Settings → Notifications → Nudge — allow notifications and sounds. (2) Nudge → Settings → Reminders — make sure reminders are on and times are set. (3) Focus mode — Do Not Disturb or a Focus filter may be suppressing alerts. Nudge never sends between 22:00–06:00.

Cancel Premium

iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Nudge → Cancel Subscription. Your Premium access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Export my data

All users (free or Premium): Nudge → Settings → Export Data produces a JSON file with every habit, log, and journey step. Export is available on every tier — it is not a Premium-gated feature.

The app feels overwhelming — too many animations

Turn on Calm Mode: Nudge → Settings → Accessibility → Calm Mode. It cuts confetti, softens haptics, and slows transitions — every core feature still works.
